The IMD also stated that there was a strong possibility of rain on August 7.

Punjab Weather Update Latest News Today: Following heavy rains in several areas on the first day of August, the pace of monsoon in Punjab has slowed down once again with average temperature increasing by 4.8 degrees in a day. 

After which once again the temperature of the state reached 40 degrees but it is expected to get relief from the heat again soon. On August 7, there is a possibility of rain in the whole of Punjab.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), no weather alert has been issued for the next four days but today there was a possibility of rain in Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr, and Rupnagar. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain in Gurdaspur, Pathankot, and Hoshiarpur on August 4.

The IMD also stated that there was a strong possibility of rain on August 7. Likewise, it is expected that there will be good rain on this day like July 1 and people will get relief from heat.
