Youths were detained from Deotsidh, Baba Balak Nath Temple

CHANDIGARH: Hamirpur police have detained 4 youths in suspension of aids of 'Waris Punjab De' Chief Amritpal Singh from Punjab. However, they were released after interrogation. The youths were detained from Deotsidh, Baba Balak Nath Temple. They were taken to the police post located near Bijhri area.

SP Dr Akriti Sharma said that 4 persons from Punjab have been detained for questioning. They were released after the interrogation.

It is worth mentioning here that since last one week special instructions were given to the Himachal Police to keep an eye on the pilgrims visiting the temples. The number of pilgrims coming from Punjab state is increasing in Deotsidh, Baba Balak Nath Temple. Lakhs of pilgrims arrive here on Saturdays and Sundays. The police is keeping a close eye by setting up checkpoints at different places. Inquiries in the matter are ongoing.
