Elderly Punjabi singer Surinder Singh Bakarapuri Commits Suicide Latest News: Elderly Punjabi singer Surinder Singh Bakarapuri from village Bakarpur, Kapurthala, committed suicide by hanging himself on Thursday. The village of Bakarpur falls under the jurisdiction of Bhulath police station (Kapurthala).
Bhulath police reached the spot, took possession of the body, and is currently placed in the Kapurthala mortuary. Bhulath SHO Ranjit Singh stated that no suicide note was recovered.
The deceased’s daughter claimed that her father took the extreme step as he was under stress due to some individuals, and she demanded justice. Further action will be taken on the basis of statements from the family members, police said.
