Muzaffarnagar A 25-year-old woman was shot dead by unidentified assailants in her house at Akbarpur Suneti village in Shamli district, police said today.
The incident took place last evening when Sameena was alone at her house, Circle Officer Rajesh Tiwari said, adding four bike-borne persons came to her house, shot her and then escaped from the spot.

Sameena died on the spot, he said. The body has been sent for post-mortem, the CO said, adding investigation is underway in the matter. PTI
