For the purpose of the Presidential Election, the Election Commission of India has fixed the Committee Room ‘A’ of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha Secretariat, Vidhan Bhavan, Chandigarh, as the place of poll which will take place between the hours of 10.00 A.M and 5.00 P.M. both inclusive, on Monday, the 17th July, 2017 for elected members of the Punjab Legislative Assembly

New Delhi: For the purpose of the Presidential Election, the Election Commission of India has fixed the Committee Room ‘A’ of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha Secretariat, Vidhan Bhavan, Chandigarh, as the place of poll which will take place between the hours of 10.00 A.M and 5.00 P.M. both inclusive, on Monday, the 17th July, 2017 for elected members of the Punjab Legislative Assembly.           Disclosing this, a spokesman of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha said that any elected Member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly specially permitted by the Election Commission of India, can also cast his/her vote at the place of polling in Room No.62, Parliament House, New Delhi as well as at any other State Headquarter who are not able to cast his/her vote at his/her own State headquarter. If any elected Member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly is interested to cast his/her vote at New Delhi or at any other State Head Quarter, then prescribed Form in this regard can be had from the Assistant Returning Officer for Presidential Election , Punjab Vidhan Sabha which should reach the Commission not later than 10 days before the date of poll.           It is also brought to the notice of electors that the option once made by them will be final and no change of mind will be allowed by the Commission.
