About using the machine in crematorium premises, he said this will be the beginning of a new environment-friendly practice. "This bio-waste re-processing plant converts used flowers & leaves into compost and Havan material and is a new experiment in the area of environmental protection #SwachhBharat," the Union environment minister tweeted.

"In order to set up this machine, we provided Rs 12,76,974 from our MPLADS fund. There's a battery vehicle for collecting used flowers and leaves, which I inaugurated driving myself. "This waste re-processing technology will prove to be a good contribution to the #SwachhBharat Mission of our PM @NarendraModi. I hope this shall be replicated in other cities of India as well," he said in a series of tweets.
