Etawah (UP): In a tragic incident, a 24-
year-old youth allegedly shot dead a woman, her father, and
then killed himself with the same revolver in the Bakebar
police station area here, police said today.
Nilendra Chauhan was allegedly upset at the marriage of
the woman being fixed elsewhere, a police official said.
"Nilendra Chauhan opened fire at Narendra Singh Chauhan
at his shop in Lakhna bazar this morning and rushed to his
house in Kuravali Darwaza area and fired at his daughter," a
police official said.
He then shot himself with the same revolver, he added.
Nilendra Chauhan and the woman died on the spot while her
father was admitted to a hospital in a serious condition.
The youth was allegedly upset over the woman's family
fixing her marriage elsewhere, an official said.
