Himachal Pradesh Latest News: A girl from Haryana was recently filmed hanging out of a moving car in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh while creating an Instagram reel. The incident involved a Haryana-registered vehicle, with the girl dangerously leaning out of the window as a man in the back seat recorded her actions. Another passerby captured the scene and shared it on social media, where it quickly went viral. The Shimla Police upon viewing the video issued a challan for the vehicle involved.
According to police reports, on Monday morning, a group of young men and women from Haryana were traveling on the Shimla-Chharabra road in a car with the registration number HR-26-EQ-9570. The girl was seen hanging out of the vehicle's window while the driver attempted to overtake a truck on a winding road, a reckless act that could have endangered her life.
In a separate incident in Ludhiana, Punjab, a video surfaced of an Instagram influencer performing stunts on a bike at high speed during the night. The influencer was seen riding the bike hands-free and performing gym exercises on the elevated bridge in front of the clock tower, including push-ups under a bridge. The Ludhiana Police arrested the individual and seized his Kawasaki Ninja bike after tracking him down through his Instagram account.
The authorities have expressed concern over the increasing number of such incidents in tourist areas like Shimla, Manali, Kullu, Solan, and Kandaghat, where tourists often flout traffic rules for social media content. SHO Trilochan Negi of the Dhali police station emphasized the importance of safety and urged visitors not to risk their lives for social media fame.
Midnight Stunt in Ludhiana
In Ludhiana, the gym influencer's midnight stunt video went viral on social media. The individual was seen performing exercises and riding a bike without using hands, even removing his T-shirt at one point. Following the video's circulation, senior traffic police officials issued a challan, and a search for the influencer ensued. The police apprehended him later that evening.
Traffic Zone Incharge Deepak stated that the police are actively monitoring social media for such reckless behavior and will take strict action against anyone violating traffic rules.
