80 kg of Cocaine Recovered from Kutch Beach in Successful Drug Bust

KUTCH: The Gujarat Police achieved a major breakthrough on Thursday, seizing a staggering 80 Kgs of cocaine from the shores of Kutch. The estimated value of this haul is an astounding Rs 800 crore in the international market. The successful operation came as a result of the police's vigilant stance against drug trafficking. The police had prior knowledge of potential drug trafficking activities, prompting them to increase vigilance along the coast. Acting on this information, the police tightened their cordon, leading the smugglers to abandon the contraband and flee the scene in a bid to escape law enforcement. The case is currently under active investigation.

ANI quoted Kutch East Police Superintendent, Sagar Bagmar, who disclosed that a dedicated team swiftly cordoned off the Kutch coast based on received intelligence. Despite the smugglers becoming aware of the police's arrival, their prompt action led to the confiscation of a significant amount of cocaine, a substance with a substantial value in the international drug trade.
