Modi ji has become arrogant, he does not believe in democracy: Manish Sisodia

NEW-DELHI: Delhi's Rouse Avenue court has extended the judicial custody of 'AAP' leader and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia till June 1. Along with this, the jail authorities have been instructed to consider Sisodia's demand of a table and a chair for studies.

Manish Sisodia, who reached the court, hit out at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the case of the central government's ordinance. He said, "Modi ji has become arrogant, he does not believe in democracy".

Earlier, the court had dismissed Sisodia's bail application on March 31, saying that Sisodia was the main conspirator of the criminal conspiracy in the case and that he had allegedly given around Rs 90-100 crore to himself and his colleagues in the Delhi government. Notably, The CBI had arrested Sisodia after several rounds of questioning in connection with alleged corruption in the now-cancelled Delhi Excise Policy 2021-22.
