Formerly presented in the Rouse Avenue court, Manish Sisodia, along with others, faced the extension of their judicial custody. Ahead of the Diwali festivities, Delhi Police facilitated a special visit for Manish Sisodia to meet his ailing wife. This compassionate gesture was granted after securing permission from the Rouse Avenue Court, offering a moment of respite for Sisodia amid his ongoing legal proceedings.

During the court hearing, it was noted that numerous documents from the ED against the accused were pending submission. The court expressed dissatisfaction with the delay and urged legal representatives to promptly fulfill the compliance of Section 207 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC). This step is crucial to expedite the commencement of hearings. Additionally, the court issued a notice to the ED, emphasizing the need for expeditious proceedings.
