NEW-DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation has filed a charge sheet against Congress leader Jagdish Tytler in the 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots Case. The agency has charged Tytler under sections 147 (rioting), 109 (incitement) and 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), said officials. The Next hearing in the matter is scheduled to be held on June 2.

In its chargesheet, the CBI said, "Tytler incited a crowd gathered at the Pul Bangash Gurdwara Azad Market" on November 1, 1984, resulting in massive fire at the Gurdwara Sahib and the death of three Sikhs- Thakur Singh, Badal Singh and Gurcharan Singh.
