JALANDHAR: Congress Punjab President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring held a meeting with the Christian community at Jalandhar Congress Bhawan. In the meeting, the candidate of Jalandhar by-election Prof. Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary and District President Rajinder Berry were also present.

Addressing the meeting, President Raja Warring said, "We are grateful to the entire Christian community who have always supported the Congress party selflessly. The Christian community has made a huge contribution to where we are today."

He said that while being in the government, there must have been many shortcomings, for which as the president h apologize, be it a party or a government, people of every sect, religion, caste, community have equal contribution, so their Solving problems is party's priority. Therefore, Congress will form a committee to solve the problems mentioned by the Christian community.

He said, "Every person in the Congress party will be given due respect and the Congress party is like a family, where everyone follows advice, so whether it is a Christian community or anyone, everyone should be taken together and their issues resolved. It is our responsibility to find a solution and the Congress party will never back down from its responsibility."
