In the last 24 hours, more than 5,000 new cases have come to light in the country and 157 people have died. According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of cases of corona virus in the country has risen to 96,169 and 3,049 people have died due to the epidemic.

At the same time, it is worth mentioning that more than 36,000 people have recovered from the virus. The total number of active cases in the country is 56,316.

So far, the worst affected state in India is Maharashtra where the number of corona patients has crossed 33,000 and the death toll has risen to 1,198.

In Gujarat, the number of patients infected with the corona virus has risen to 11,379 and 659 people have died. Corona infection is also on the rise in Tamil Nadu. So far 11,224 cases have been confirmed here, in which 78 people have died.

At the same time, the number of corona patients in Delhi has crossed 10,000. According to the ministry's update, the total number of patients in Delhi is 10,054, of which 160 have died.

In Rajasthan, 5,202 confirmed cases have come to light in which 131 people have died. So far 4977 cases have come to light in Madhya Pradesh in which 248 people have died.

The number of corona patients has also increased in Uttar Pradesh. The number of patients here has now risen to 4,259, with 238 people losing their lives.
