In an ongoing encounter in Pulwama, the security forces have trapped a top Jaish terrorist. It is being reported that Abdul Rasheed Ghazi is the mastermind of the major blast which took place a few days back, killing over 40 CRPF personnel. There are two more terrorists along with Abdul Rashid Ghazi, reportedly.
As the security forces were conducting a combing operation to sanitise the Pulwama region after the fatal blast on 14th February, the Pakistan based Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist holed up in a residential building began firing on the joint team of Indian Army's 55 Rashtriya Rifles, CRPF and Special Operation Group conducting the search and combing operation.Two civilians were also killed in the encounter, and are reported to be the residents of the building the terrorists were holed up in.
