Delhi news: The CAQM Sub-Committee on GRAP on Friday invoked all actions envisaged under Stage-III of the extant GRAP, ‘Severe’ air quality (Delhi AQI ranging between 401 and 450), with immediate effect across the entire NCR, as a “proactive measure.”
The decision was taken in view of the prevailing air quality trends and AQI forecasts issued by the IMD and IITM, and in an effort to prevent further deterioration of air quality in the region.
