Researchers said that women need to be extra careful to prevent corona infection. The research was conducted by the Indian Institute of Economic Development's Population Research Centre in collaboration with the Research Institute of India and the United States.

The World Health Organization has put the corona mortality rate in India at 3.34 percent. According to researchers, this could be as high as 4.8 percent.
