New Delhi: The corona virus is wreaking havoc in the country. On the 50th day of the lockdown, the total number of cases has crossed 75,000. In the last 24 hours, 3525 new cases of corona have been found while 122 patients have died.
According to the latest update from the Ministry of Health, there have been 74,281 cases of corona in the country so far.
Coronavirus Out of them 47,480 are active cases. So far 2415 patients have died from corona. The mortality rate from this virus infection is 3.2% while the recovery rate is 31.74%.
The number of corona cases in Maharashtra is close to 25,000. Of these, 18,381 cases are active and so far 921 people have lost their lives while 5,125 have recovered.
After Maharashtra, Gujarat is facing the worst disaster from Corona. The number of infected people is increasing rapidly. There are currently 5121 active cases in Gujarat. 537 people have died from corona here while 3246 people have either recovered or been discharged from the hospital.
CoronavirusCases of corona infection are also on the rise in Delhi. So far 7639 cases of corona virus have been reported in the capital. While 86 people have died due to the Covid-19 epidemic, 2512 people have fully recovered.
According to the health ministry, 868 deaths have been reported in Maharashtra due to corona. There were 513 deaths in Gujarat, 221 in Madhya Pradesh, 190 in West Bengal and 113 in Rajasthan, 73 in Delhi, 80 in Uttar Pradesh, 45 in Andhra Pradesh, 53 in Tamil Nadu and 30 in Telangana.
While 31 in both Karnataka and Punjab, 10 in Jammu and Kashmir, 11 in Haryana, 6 in Bihar, 4 both in Kerala and Jharkhand. 2 both in Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh and 1 in Meghalaya have died due to corona.
As of Monday, 2.37% of patients were in ICU, 0.41% on ventilator and 1.82% oxygen assistance, according to the health ministry. There are currently 347 government labs and 137 private labs in India where corona can be tested. A total of 17, 62,840 tests have been performed so far. India now has the capacity to conduct one lakh tests daily.
