Mumbai Police is on high alert and the threat call was received on the traffic police helpline. 

Mumbai Threat Call: that 34 ‘’human  bombs’ carrying ‘400 kg of RDX’ planted, Latest News: Mumbai police on Friday said that it received a threat call in which the caller claimed that 34 ‘human bombs’ carrying ‘400 kg of RDX’ have been planted in 34 vehicles for blast in the city. 

Mumbai Police is on high alert and the threat call was received on the traffic police helpline.

According to Hindustan Times, which cites  Mumbai Police, the threat was issued by an organisation called Lashkar-e-Jihadi on the eve of Anant Chaturdashi.

Anant Chaturdashi will happen on Saturday, September 6, 2025.  The festival, also known as Ganesh Visarjan, marks the final day of the 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. 

Police said that security has been enhanced across the state of Maharashtra. Police stated that the threat message claims that 34 cars carrying human bombs will be used to detonate 400kg of RDX.
