Amritpal Singh is currently jailed in Dibrugarh Jail under the National Security Act. 

Amritpal Singh takes oath as Khadoor Sahib MP: In a major development, the 'Waris Punjab De' chief and Lok Sabha PM from Punjab's Khadoor Sahib constituency Amritpal Singh on Friday took oath in Delhi.

It is worth mentioning that the NSA detainee Amritpal Singh, who took the oath as a Member of Parliament for the Khadoor Sahib constituency on Friday, was granted parole to complete the oath-taking ceremony. After his oath-taking, he would now be sent back to Dibrugarh Jail in Assam today.

Amritpal Singh is currently jailed in Dibrugarh Jail under the National Security Act. 

He was seen wearing a white shirt,  black long pants, and an orange turban. Amritpal Singh was accompanied by the police force from the Dibrugarh Central Jail to New Delhi. 

His victory from the Khadoor Sahib marked a crucial milestone in his political career despite his detention under the NSA.
