Light to moderate rains occurred in some parts of Himachal Pradesh today. According to the Meteorological (MeT) department, Kalpa was the coldest place in the state as the lowest temperature was recorded at 13.2 degrees Celsius, followed by 13.8 degrees Celsius in Kufri and Keylong, 14.8 degrees Celsius in Chail, 15.6 degrees Celsius in Manali, 16.3 degrees Celsius in Shimla and 16.8 degrees Celsius in Dalhousie.

Sundernagar received the highest rainfall at 36.4 mm, followed by Kangra 23.4 mm, Mandi and Dharamshala 21.2 mm, Palampur 15.4 mm and Nahan witnessed 6.9 mm rains. The maximum temperature in the state was recorded in Una at 34.4 degrees Celsius, followed by 33.4 degrees Celsius in Bhuntar, 33.3 degrees Celsius in Hamirpur, 32.2 degrees Celsius in Mandi and Bilaspur and 32 degrees Celsius in Sundernagar during the same period.
