Soon after the incident, the whole area was cordoned off to capture the attackers.

Srinagar Grenade Blast, Jammu and Kashmir Latest News Today: At least 6 people were injured in a grenade blast that took place at the Sunday Market area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Sunday.

A top police officer told GNS that militants lobbed a grenade in a busy Market near TRC resulting in injuries to six people.

All of them have been immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, all are stable as they have received few splinters.

Soon after the incident, the whole area was cordoned off to capture the attackers.

The number of injuries could rise as this information is preliminary in nature.
