Jammu And Kashmir News: DM Restricts Movement Of Public In And Around Bhimgarh Fort Latest: In view of inclement weather forecast, incessant rainfall, landslides being reported in and around Bhimgarh Fort in District Reasi and IMD’s advisory regarding possibility of landslides, shooting stones, soil erosion and related hazards, Office Of The District Magistrate, Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir issued Restriction on Movement of public in and around Bhimgarh Fort until further notice. ‘

“In view of the above, General Public of Reasi is hereby advised to avoid Non-essential movement in and around Bhim Garh Fort to avoid any untoward incident. Further, entry of Tourists to Bhim Garh Fort shall remain temporarily restricted in the interest of Public Safety. Local residents are advised to remain vigilant and refrain from venturing close to hill slopes or vulnerable structures adjoining the Fort,” the DISTRICT MAGISTRATE, REASI advisory read.

This advisory will remain in force till prevailing weather conditions improve in District Reasi.

Divisional Forest Officer has been ordered to send his team to the area take necessary steps to clear any debris that has accumulated in the said area.
