Chandigarh, 3rd March'19: Jathedar Giani Iqbal Singh sent his resignation to the president of Takhat Patna Sahib Gurdwara Management Board, Jathedar Avtar Singh Hitt. Below given is the resignation letter:

Within a few hours, the Jathedar has withdrawn his resignation, stating that it is the sangat which does not want him to leave the post. He says that the General Secretary, along with the Sangat gave his resignation back, and also returned the keys which he had submitted, hence he was back on the post which he has held for the last 35 years.
The seven member committee probing all the allegations against the Jathedar by the Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh has submitted its report already, and a decision on it will be taken in the next meeting of the five high priests.
