Kuldeep Srivastava, head of the Regional Meteorological Center, Delhi, said the western storm would intensify as it would form a low-pressure area and generate moisture from the Arabian Sea.

Due to this, rains in the north-western region for the next three to four days are expected and strong winds may move at a speed of 40 to 50 kmph and snowfall in the upper regions of the western Himalayas.
