Himachal Weather Update Latest News Today, IMD Prediction This Week: While the initial days of July witnessed a spell of rain, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert in the state. People were worried after a few areas witnessed heavy rains causing flash floods in Himachal Pradesh. 

As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a yellow alert was issued in Himachal Pradesh on July 13 and 14  except in Lahul Spiti, and  Kinnaur, where the IMD issued no alert. 

Likewise, the IMD stated that there was no warning of rain in Lahul and Spiti, Kinnaur, Hamirpur, and Bilaspur on  July 15, while other districts Chamba, Kangra, Solan, Shimla, Kullu, Mandi, Kangra, and Sirmaur had yellow alert issued on July 15. 

On July 16, only Shimla, Solan, and UNA have yellow alerts and in other districts of  Himachal Pradesh, there is no warning of rain. 

 Lahul  Spiti and  Kinnaur have no warning of rain on July 17, while other districts Solan, Shimla, Sirmaur, Kullu, and Kangra have yellow alerts, which means there will be rain on July 17 in these districts.
