The news is coming from Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district, where a massive landslide struck the Manimahesh pilgrimage route near Dal Lake, between Guinala and Donali.

Fortunately, there was no one present at that place, when the incident took place. This incident has caused significant damage to the route, just ahead of the start of the Manimahesh Yatra from Chamba.
This comes a day after another landslide that hit the Badrinath Highway near Patalganga in Chamoli district.
