Shimla Car Accident Latest News Today, Himachal Weather Update: A late-night accident in Himachal Pradesh's Shimla district has left three young men dead and another injured after their car plunged into the Pabbar River near Rohru amid continuous heavy rainfall.

The tragic incident occurred around midnight near a petrol pump close to the Seema Harsukh Resort. According to initial reports, the vehicle lost control while navigating the slippery roads and tumbled into the river below. The car remained lodged midstream in the swollen river, making the rescue operation difficult.

Four youths were traveling in the car at the time of the accident. Local residents who heard the crash immediately rushed to the scene and alerted authorities. Emergency services arrived shortly after and began rescue efforts. While one occupant was rescued with injuries and rushed to a nearby hospital, the other three were found dead at the site.

Preliminary details suggest that three of the victims may be from Moochhada village and one from Dhak village, although police have not yet officially confirmed their identities. The injured survivor is currently undergoing treatment, and his condition is reported to be stable.

The cause of the accident is under investigation, but officials point to poor weather conditions and slippery roads as likely contributing factors. The area has been receiving intense rainfall over the past few days, raising concerns over road safety, especially in hilly and river-adjacent regions.

Police have urged drivers to exercise caution during the monsoon season, as visibility and road conditions can rapidly deteriorate. The tragic accident has cast a shadow over the region, with locals mourning the sudden loss of young lives.
