Himachal Pradesh Weather Update Latest News: Attention residents! An orange alert for heavy to very heavy rain has been issued for ten districts in Himachal Pradesh, with adverse weather conditions expected to persist until August 6.

On Wednesday, Dharamshala, Kangra, Nahan, and Shimla experienced rainfall, while other areas of the state saw mostly clear skies with light clouds. The orange alert for heavy rain will affect all districts except Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti on Thursday.

The Meteorological Center in Shimla forecasts heavy to very heavy rainfall in isolated locations across Bilaspur, Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, Sirmaur, Solan, and Una. Rainy weather is anticipated to continue in many regions of the state through early August.

On Wednesday afternoon, Dharamshala recorded 81 mm of rain between 3 and 5 pm. Other rainfall measurements included 18 mm in Kangra, 16 mm in Nahan, 12 mm in Dhaula Kuan, and 8 mm in Shimla. Ghumarwin also experienced heavy rain for a brief period. Meanwhile, Kullu has been struggling with high humidity due to a lack of rainfall.

In Una district, residents found relief from the humid heat following rain on Wednesday morning. The weather cleared by afternoon, bringing bright sunshine. On Wednesday morning, rain fell for 20 minutes in Una, Haroli, Amb, and Bangana.

Temperature readings from Tuesday night were as follows: Shimla at 19.0°C, Kalpa at 17.4°C, Dharamshala at 22.1°C, Una at 24.2°C, Nahan at 23.5°C, Solan at 22.2°C, Manali at 20.3°C, Kangra at 23.8°C, Mandi at 26.1°C, Bilaspur at 26.5°C, Hamirpur at 26.8°C, and Chamba at 25.8°C.
