Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar Sells Ancestral Land in Rohtak Latest News: Former Chief Minister of Haryana and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, according to sources, recently announced that he would sell his inherited land.
The minister also added that all the money he receives from it will be donated entirely to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
However, according to a report by the Times of India, the minister has already sold the ancestral land of around 1.5 acres in his native village Baniani, located in Rohtak district of Haryana.
The land fetched him around Rs 1 crore, the TOI report added.
Additionally, Khattar also announced that he would donate his ancestral house to establish the "Maa Shanti Devi Library." The library would be used to provide a conducive environment for rural students to prepare for competitive examinations.
