Delhi Cop Arrests Another Accused in 2024 Explosion Outside Badshah’s Nightclub In Chandigarh News

Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested another accused in connection with the 2024 bomb attack outside the nightclub of singer and rapper Badshah, in Chandigarh, NDTV reported. 

According to the report, the accused is identified as Deepak, a resident of Faridkot, Punjab. He was arrested in Delhi. 
The accused was reportedly in close contact with gangster Goldy Brar, who, according to the report, had claimed responsibility for the attack outside the singer’s property.

On November 26, the report said, two explosions occurred outside two clubs in Chandigarh. One attack occurred outside Seville Bar and Lounge, owned by singer and rapper Badshah, while the second one occurred outside De Orra Club, owned by local businessmen.

CCTV footage showed a man throwing crude bombs at the clubs before escaping from the scene.
No one was reported injured in the incident; however, the explosions caused some damage to the properties. 

Shortly after the incident, Goldy Brar, an associate of Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the attack in a purported Facebook post.
The post reported said that in addition to Brar, another member of the gang, Rohit Godara, was responsible for the explosions, the NDTV report said, noting it could verify the post. 

Two people in connection with the cases were arrested on November 29, 2024, in Haryana's Hisar district, in a joint operation by the Chandigarh police and the Haryana Special Task Force (STF).
The then-arrested accused were identified as Vinay (20) and Ajit Sehrawat (21), residents of Hisar.
