Siemens Energy Gets Listed on Indian Stock Exchanges After Demerger
Siemens Energy, the power transmission and distribution (T&D) business that demerged from Siemens, was listed on the Indian stock exchanges on June 19 in a special pre-market session ahead of regular trading, which begins at 10 AM.
The company got listed at rupees 2,850 on the BSE and rupees 2,840 on the NSE.
The stock opened at rupees 2,840 on the NSE and quickly rose to rupees 2,915 within the first hour of trade. This marked a 17.67% gain over the reference price of rupees 2,478.20, used for comparison on listing day.
According to reports, Siemens Energy India Limited is expected to become the country’s largest listed pure-play T&D equipment company, underscoring its strong market position.
The demerger from Siemens Limited took effect on April 7, 2025.
In addition to Siemens Energy, three other companies were also listed on the NSE on the same day are Sumeet industries limited, Indosolor limited and Monolithisch India limited.
