Apple event 2024, iPhone 16 Launch and Release Date Latest News: Apple has set a date for its next major event: September 9th, 2024, at 1 PM ET / 10 AM PT. The event, themed "It’s Glowtime," will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park.

The highlight of the event is expected to be the unveiling of the iPhone 16 series. A notable change for the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models is the anticipated switch to a vertically aligned camera system on the rear—a design tweak that has already garnered positive feedback based on iPhone 16 dummy models. The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max may feature larger screens while maintaining Apple’s signature three-camera setup. Additionally, these Pro models could be available in a new bronze color option.

All four models in the iPhone 16 lineup are expected to include the Action Button, previously exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro series. There are also rumors of a new button designed specifically for capturing photos and videos, though it remains unclear whether this feature will be exclusive to the Pro models or available across the entire iPhone 16 range.
