Punjab-Haryana border sealed ahead of farmers' 'Delhi Chalo' march: The Punjab-Haryana border at Shambhu in Ambala has been sealed due to the 'Delhi Chalo' march by farmers. The Haryana government is trying to stop farmers from going to Delhi by closing the Punjab-Haryana border at Shambhu near Ambala.

The Centre has asked the farmers to discuss their demands on February 12. As farmers plan to march to Delhi on February 13, strict measures are in place at the borders of Jind and Fatehabad. To avoid potential trouble, Haryana has blocked mobile internet and bulk SMS in seven districts from February 12.

The farmers, represented by over 200 unions, want assurances like a minimum support price law. Security is increased at the Shambhu border with closed roads and obstacles. Similar restrictions exist in Jind, and police are urging local leaders not to join the march.

Jagjit Singh Dallewal from SKM criticized Haryana's actions, emphasizing their willingness to talk with the Centre. He reminded of the government's earlier promise about a legal guarantee for minimum support prices during the protests against the now-repealed farm laws. The situation remains tense with ongoing talks and state government actions.
