The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday kicked off its election slogan
New Delhi: 'Sansad mein bhi Kejriwal, to Dilli hogi aur khush haal,’ the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday kicked off its election slogan while launching its political campaigning for the upcoming Lok Sabha election 2024.
The campaign was launched by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann in the presence of party leaders and declared candidates.
Arvind Kejriwal, while speaking at the event at the Aam Aadmi Party headquarters on DDU Marg, said that "I have made all efforts to serve the people of Delhi who are my family. Our slogan is 'Sansad mein bhi Kejriwal, to Dilli hogi aur khush haal' (Delhi will be more prosperous with Kejriwal in Parliament)."
During the event, he also slammed the BJP government and said that the Centre through the Delhi Lt Governor stalls every project launched by the AAP government and urged the people to "strengthen" him by sending all seven opposition candidates to Parliament.
"They hate you because you elected and brought an ordinary man to power in Delhi. They demolished Mohalla Clinics with bulldozers, they stopped door-to-door ration delivery scheme, tests and medicines in hospitals," he alleged.
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said, "...Today AAP has become a national party. Delhiites have shown immense love and faith in AAP by providing thumping victory in the past elections. We believe in work politics, not in hatred politics...Arvind Kejriwal works day and night to provide the best for the people of the National Capital, however, the central government is halting all significant works such as Delhi Jal Board...Arvind Kejriwal is fighting alone but he has you all and that's our 'shakti.' They say double-engine, we say 'double-shakti'."
