Mandi: Prateush, student of Class XI in DAV Centenary Public School, Mandi, represented the country in the UK Science Olympiad. Principal of the school Kuldeep Singh Guleria said it was a matter of pride for the school that Prateush represented the country on the international stage.

The Principal stated that Prateush was selected for the olympiad and cultural exchange programme. He went to the UK on July 2 for attending the programme and visited science museum, Royal Science Academy, the UK, and attended Hill School for cultural exchange programme.

“He has also been awarded a certificate for the UK Science Olympiad and cultural exchange programme 2017. Students from Germany, France, China and India took part in this event,” he added.

Prateush was honoured by Governor Acharya Devvrat at a function in Raj Bhawan, Shimla. His aim is to be an aeronautical engineer from IIT and serve the country. Prateush gave credit for his success to his principal, teachers and his family who always supported him.
