Students protest shortage of teachers

Rewari: Girl students of Government Senior Secondary School in Gothra Tappa Dahina village today staged a dharna at the school premises against the shortage of teachers.

Rewari: Girl students of Government Senior Secondary School in Gothra Tappa Dahina village today staged a dharna at the school premises against the shortage of teachers.

The protesters said the school was recently upgraded to senior secondary level but required number of teachers were not deputed in the school following which they were compelled to study without teachers.

The girls lifted their dharna following an assurance by the district authority that required numbers of teachers would be posted at the school within a week. However, they have threatened to resume the agitation if the assurance is not fulfilled.
