Revised pay scale for state universities staff

Chandigarh: Haryana government has approved to revise the pay scale of non-teaching staff of 14 universities in the State as per the recommendations of the sevnth pay commission with effect from January 1, 2016. This decision will benefit about 20,000 employees of these universities.

Chandigarh: Haryana government has approved to revise the pay scale of non-teaching staff of 14 universities in the State as per the recommendations of the sevnth pay commission with effect from January 1, 2016. This decision will benefit about 20,000 employees of these universities.

While stating this, finance minister, Captain Abhimanyu said that salary for July, 2017 would be paid as per the revised . The arrears of 18 months would also be paid.

The universities to be covered include Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Khanpur Kalan, Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, Chaudhary Bansi Lal University, Bhiwani, Indira Gandhi University Meerpur, Rewari, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, YMCA University of Science and Technology, Faridabad, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar (FD-I) Branch, Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Science, Hisar, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, State University of Performing and Visual Arts, Rohtak, Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak and Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal.
