Presidential Polls: BJP MLA peddled bicycle to cast his vote

Chandigarh: The Haryana BJP legislator Dr Pawan Saini astonished all the lawmakers of Punjab and Haryana when he peddled bicyle from MLA hostel to Haryana assembly to cast his vote. When the MLAs of Punjab and Haryana were coming on their sedans and SUVs, he was the only MLA who came to assembly on a bicycle.

Chandigarh: The Haryana BJP legislator Dr Pawan Saini astonished all the lawmakers of Punjab and Haryana when he peddled bicyle from MLA hostel to Haryana assembly to cast his vote. When the MLAs of Punjab and Haryana were coming on their sedans and SUVs, he was the only MLA who came to assembly on a bicycle.

Saini told the media that when the distance from MLA hostel in sector 3 is not much from the assembly, then there is no need to use the official vehicle or personal vehicle. Moreover, the cycling is a good exercise.

He said, “I want to give a message to all the MLAs to peddle bicycle as it will save the fuel and moreover, it will keep them fit also.”

Dr Pawan Saini, is a trained doctor, Indian politician and social activist, belonging to the Bhartiya Janata Party. In 2014, He has been elected as an MLA from Ladwa assembly constituency in Kurukshetra District in Haryana.
