Labourers to get meal at Rs 10 soon, says minister

Kurukshetra: Labour and Employment Minister Nayab Singh Saini said an affordable meal scheme for labourers at Rs 10 per meal would be launched soon. At a function held at Babain in the district today, he said the government had almost formulated the special kitchen scheme.

Kurukshetra: Labour and Employment Minister Nayab Singh Saini said an affordable meal scheme for labourers at Rs 10 per meal would be launched soon. At a function held at Babain in the district today, he said the government had almost formulated the special kitchen scheme.

He said the labourers in the state would also be facilitated with free travel to ‘char dham’. Travel expenses of five members in a family of a labourer would be borne by the Haryana Government, he said.

Saini said the BJP government was committed to the welfare of the working class. Saini said the government had decided to open hospitals in industrial towns of Bahadurgarh and Bawal for prompt medical facilities to the ailing working class.
