Mumbai: The 54th Femina Miss India World 2017 was held on the night of June 25, at Yash Raj Film Studio, Mumbai and Manushi Chhillar from Haryana took the crown.
Mumbai: The 54th Femina Miss India World 2017 was held on the night of June 25, at Yash Raj Film Studio, Mumbai and Manushi Chhillar from Haryana took the crown.
Manushi was crowned by Miss World 2016 Stephanie Del Valle. Miss Jammu and Kashmir, Sana Dua, and Miss Bihar, Priyanka Kumari were declared the first and second runner-up respectively.
But before the glamorous event took to the stage, the thirty participants were mentored and trained by Neha Dhupia, Waluscha De Sousa, Dipannita Sharma and Parvathy Omanakuttan.
The top six finalists - Shefali Sood, Sana Dua, Priyanka Kumari, Manushi Chhillar, Aishwarya Devan and Anukriti Gusain were dressed in enchanting ensembles by Manish Malhotra which was also the first time the finalists of the pageant wore India.
The pageant was judged by the bigwigs of the fashion and film industry such as Arjun Rampal, Manish Malhotra, Illeana D' Cruz, Bipasha Basu, Abhishek Kapoor, Vidyut Jammwal and Miss World 2016 Stephanie Del Valle.
The show was hosted by Karan Johar and Riteish Deshmukh and Bollywood's top entertainers Ranbir Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput and Alia Bhatt, and singer Sonu Nigam dazzles the audience with her power-packed performance.
