Natural farming award goes to Palampur: DK Vatsa, Vice-Chancellor of CSK HP Agriculture University (HPAU), extended his congratulations to the Head of the Farmer Science Centre (KVK) in Sirmaur for receiving the prestigious ‘Outstanding Natural Farming Krishi Vigyan Kendra’ (KVK) award. This recognition was announced during the recent progress review-cum-awareness workshop on "Out Scaling of Natural Farming through KVK," hosted at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST).
In his address, VC Vatsa highlighted the diligent efforts of the KVK team, noting their dedication to advancing natural farming practices within the district. Their work encompasses awareness campaigns, training sessions, and practical demonstrations aimed at educating and engaging the local farming community.
The award was presented by SKUAST Vice-Chancellor Nazir Ah Ganai, who served as the chief guest at the event. The presentation took place during the workshop's concluding session in Srinagar, where KVK Head Pankaj Mittal and Natural Farming Nodal Officer Shiwali Dhiman were honored for their contributions.
