New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today dedicate 35 varieties of special crops to the nation. The government declared that these varieties had been developed by the Council of Agricultural Research of India after a lot of research. These will reduce the effects of climate change and malnutrition.

PM Modi will join the program through video conferencing. He said that he would also talk to hardworking farmers. The crops that the Prime Minister will be giving to the country will include a crop of chickpeas that can withstand the onslaught of drought.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also inaugurate the campus of the National Institute of Biotic Stress Management, Raipur in this farmers-related program.
