The SKM’s march follows failed talks with the Punjab government over unresolved issues. A recent sit-down with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann collapsed, with farmer leaders claiming he walked out prematurely. The group has now launched a week-long demonstration in Chandigarh, starting March 5, demanding a legal guarantee for Minimum Support Price (MSP) and full debt relief for farmers.
