
With no resolution in sight, tensions remain high as farmers continue to push for their demands
Farmers Protest Latest News Today: The meeting between Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and farmers' representatives on key agricultural issues ended without any resolution, prolonging the ongoing deadlock. Punjab Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian and Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal were also present at the meeting.
Meanwhile, farmer leader Joginder Singh Ugrahan reaffirmed that the planned protest in Chandigarh on March 5 would proceed as scheduled, despite the inconclusive meeting.
On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said, "In the meeting held at Punjab Bhawan today, I appealed to all the respected leaders of the farmers' organizations that blocking the roads and trains or shutting down Punjab is not a solution to any issue. All these cause inconvenience to the common people. It also has a huge impact on the work and businesses of other sections of the society, let us also think about this."
