Mumbai: Harshvardhan Kapoor is set to portray Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra in the sports star's upcoming biopic and the actor hopes he can do justice to the film.

The 26-year-old star, who made his Bollywood debut with the 2016 Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's "Mirzya", shared a picture with Bindra on social media ahead of his bipoic shoot.

"Beginnings are very special. Especially when you get to play a character that has made the nation proud on world stage.

"I am stoked to have been chosen to play #AbhinavBindra and hopefully will do justice to the man, the legend," Harshvardhan wrote. Harshvardhan will also be seen in director Vikramaditya Motwane's "Bhavesh Joshi". PTI
