"Padmaavat" has entered Rs 200 crore club and actor Deepika
Padukone is brimming with pride over the film's success.
Though, she says, the number game does not matter to her,
the "Bajirao Mastani" actor is happy with the love the film,
which also features Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in pivotal
roles, is getting from audience for her portrayal of Queen
Padmavati.
"The journey of 'Padmaavat' has been nothing short of
incredible. While numbers never mattered to me. But at this
moment I feel proud as an artist and as an individual. There
could be no better reward than having surpassed my previous
highs," Deepika said in a statement here.
"Padmavaat" has broken the record of Deepika's own film
"Chennai Express" and raked in Rs 236 crore at the box office
till February 8 in India.
Deepika will be seen next in Vishal Bhardwaj's film
alongside Irrfan Khan.
