Nawazuddin starts prep work for 'Thackeray'

Mumbai: Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has started preparing for his role as Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray in the "Thackeray" biopic.

The 43-year-old actor, who will play the title character in the film penned by Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, today met the former politician's son Uddhav Thackeray and grandson Aditya Thackeray.

"The prep work starts from the right place and with the right people @Matoshree.

It was pleasure meeting @uddhavthackeray ji @rautsanjay61, @AUThackeray and the blessings of Shri Balasaheb Thackeray," Nawazuddin tweeted.

Directed by Abhijit Panse, the movie is slated to be released next year. PTI
