Fisher passed away on December 27 last year due to "sleep apnoea and other causes". "The Last Jedi", releasing in December, will mark the last appearance for Fisher in a movie.

Directed by Rian Johnson, the film also features Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson and Andy Serkis.
