Kapil Sharma's film Firangi is about to release and he has started doing the rounds of TV shows to promote his movie. He made the grand finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs quite entertaining and also entered Bigg Boss 11 house and interacted with the housemates in his trademark style.

However, the comedian-singer-actor recently made another Bollywood star wait. And that too on the sets of the show which made him a popular name--The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.

According to the officials, Kapil was supposed to report at 11 am on the day of the shoot, but there was no sign of him even till 3pm. Then, he cancelled the shoot.

A source on the sets told that the team kept calling Kapil to ask when he would be arriving as Sajid Khan, Akshay Kumar and Shreyas Talpade had already come.

"Akshay even graciously said that if Kapil is late, they will shoot some other bits and when the comedian comes he can join them. The roll time was 11 am, but even by 3 pm, Kapil did not arrive. Finally, he just cancelled it," said the source.

In Kapil's defense, a source close to the comedian said that he was a bit under the weather.

It is not the first time Kapil has cancelled a shoot to promote Firangi. He earlier played the vanishing act for Super Dancer 2.
